I don’t know if you’ve heard but NETWORK MARKETING IS NOW DEAD!  Wow it has been a rough year for business models and revenue sources.  Adsense died a year ago, then it was the sales letter, followed by Internet Marketing.  Good thing that John Reese brought Internet Marketing back to life!  I was getting worried!

Now apparently Network Marketing has finally the bucket.  .

Oh Network Marketing, how I miss thee!  If only someone can sell me a way to revive it!  Good thing Mike Filsaime has been around to deliver the bad news on a couple of these.  I think I would have missed out otherwise (just pickin on you Mike, LOL).  Okay, I am done being sarcastic but the whole “Death Of” is getting a bit ridiculous and funny all at the same time.

What do you think will die next?

What you think the next “Death Of” report/bulletin/shocking expose will be.  How about this one, The Death of Search Engine Optimization!  Wait, did someone already do that one?

I just wanted to let you know about another one of my favorite tools. If you are like me you probably have a million and one logins and passwords to keep track of. What most people tend to do is keep their passwords the same or very similar because it is a pain keeping track of them all (especially if you have a couple hundred!).

It was luck that I stumbled across Roboform. I was looking for it but here was a program that kept track of your logins, sign up identities, etc that was a lot more secure the the spreadsheet I used previously. So I signed up for the free trial and gave it a spin.

Roboform works beautifully. So that you know, it is a tool bar that works in IE and Firefox that detects when there is a login form on a web page. If you type in a login that it doesn’t recognize, it asks you if you want to save it. If you are on a page where Roboform already has a login saved, it displays it in the tool bar. All you have to do is hover over it and click “Fill & Submit” and it logs you in!

Head on over to Roboform and download the free trial (it let’s you store about 10 keywords before it shuts down on you). If you like it, invest the $29 buck for the full version and never worry about your passwords again.

In the upcoming days and weeks you are going to hear about Brad Callen’s program called Affiliate Elite. It will revolutionize the way that you research and design your pay per click campaigns with its ability to discover what people are promoting and what keywords they are bidding on.

This will inevitably be a catalyst for everyone wanting to launch their ebooks touting the latest and greatest ways to slay jobs and crush gurus and kill your competition (or just seriously maim them in an Adwords jousting match of some kind.)

It makes me think of the person that I learned PPC from a couple years ago. I bought Perry Marshall’s The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords course because it was recommended by a friend of mine. It’s is one of those Godfather Adwords course that everyone should have in their library especially when many of the techniques people are selling today are just a rehash of what Perry Marshall had already taught.

Perry also heavily discussed the importance of conversion tracking and visitor value. Both topics are suspiciously absent in most of the Adwords courses you see today. He also discusses the art of split testing ads to improve click-through rates and how small changes such as capitalizing the first letter in every word could send your click-throughs and conversions soaring. The butterfly effect of PPC marketing.

So while you are taking a look at Affiliate Elite, don’t forget to brush up on your PPC skills in the meantime and pick up The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords from Perry Marshall. The combination of Adwords training with the ultimate tool, Affiliate Elite, is sure to get you great results.

A few weeks ago I mentioned a product called Nitty Gritty Marketing.  If you haven’t read it click here.  It launches this Tuesday, October 23rd.  Now you are probably going to hear a lot about the program over the next few days and that’s good.  Jermaine has done an excellent job in putting together this training program.

Watch this video below to get an idea of who he is:

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

These are the things that you’ll learn with Nitty Gritty Marketing:

  • How to use web 2.0 tactics to drive traffic to your product, or someone elses, salespages.
  • How Jermaine started an online community from the ground up and grew it to over 72,000 members in just 14 months.
  • How to use the power of online video to attract leads and sell more products.

There is just too much to mention here but you’ll get a better idea by watching this video:

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

The one of the best parts about the new program is that you’ll be able to test drive the entire membership for just a few bucks!  It’s literally less than the price of a cup of coffee to check it out so there is nothing to lose.  Well, except if you drink coffee.

So head on over to Nitty Gritty Marketing to sign up on the notification list so that you can be one of the first in line when it launches.  There are going to be several bonuses that go out to the first xxx number of people (sorry, I cant tell you :P ).

I also have a bonus for you if you stay on the program for at least 60 days.  You’re gonna love this!  I will show you a sneaky little trick that I use to get top rankings in the search engines for high converting keywords that will leave your competition scratching their head!  Don’t worry, its all white hat, but still sneaky!  When you sign up on Tuesday, just leave a comment here and I’ll contact you.  It’s that simple.

I am gonna let you in on one of the tools that my business partner and I used to create our first ecommerce store. Now to preface this, it has nothing to do with the actual building of the site just what you decide to sell.

For a long time I wanted to have my own e-store but had no idea where to start. I didn’t know about how to research markets, how to find products, or anything. That was nearly over 3 years ago, man how the time flies! Anyway, I was lucky enough to run across a company called Worldwide Brands early in my research.

Worldwide Brands, to put it bluntly, one of the best resources available when it comes to researching markets, product lines, and finding companies that will drop ship products for you.

If you are not familiar with drop shipping, think of it like this – You can sell a product without ever touching it, smelling it, seeing, whatever. You get access to wholesale prices without having to stock any merchandise! To give you an idea of how popular this idea is among internet retailers, let me ask you this. Do you know who the #1 dropshipper is? Hmmm? Well? OK! Its Amazon! Why would Amazon dropship products? Because they make money, period.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that dropshipping will make you rich. Just like any business model, it has its own set of headaches. Managed correctly, drop shipping is an excellent want to test and enter markets.

Back to Worldwide Brands. Another thing that sets them apart is the free training that they provide their members. They have videos, radio shows, training manual, a whole bunch of people in their office that pick up the phone to answer any questions you have. Imagine that, you can actually call them!

Go ahead and check it out for yourself. Worldwide Brands has been an excellent resource for me over the last few years and I think that you’ll be amazed at what information they are giving away for free and even more amazed at what you’ll get as a member.

You have probably heard of Brad Callen by now so I won’t go into a lot of detail about who he is. However, if you don’t know him I bet you know some of the products that he’s released.

  • Keyword Elite – Talk about making it easy to generate massive keyword lists easily and efficiently! You can even upload your results directly to your Adwords account!
  • SEO Elite – This is my favorite one that he’s done as I literally use it daily to track my competitors and see where they are getting there links from, and to submit articles, and a ton of other stuff. (I will be creating some demo vids for you to see soon.)

There are others but the main one I wanted to talk about today is his new one called Affiliate Elite! This is hands down one of the most dangerous weapons to hit the affiliate marketing scene to date.

Imagine having the ability to find and track people that already have successful affiliate campaigns? Imagine being able to know what keywords they are using, what sites they are using as landing pages, and the copy they use to sell the products? All at the proverbial push of a button!

You would never promote a product again without know how to make money from it BEFORE you even start! You would not waste another dime on a doomed pay per click campaign because you have already spied on those affiliates that have been around for a long time and are making money from it.

Now, Affiliate Elite is not the first product to offer this but it is the most cost effective and is put together by the best group of marketers and programmers on the internet marketing scene.

I have a lot of respect for Brad and his staff because of the things that I have learned from him over the last few years and he puts out good stuff, period.

To start getting a good idea of what Affiliate Elite can do, head on over to watch a couple of the videos that Brad put up and see the power of it for yourself. While you are there, sign up to get notified about when other demo videos come out. You are in for quite a surprise. Once you see it, you get it!

New For 2009!

12 month internet millionare

Recently, Russell Brunson launched a new product called 12 Month Internet Millionaire. (I know not another launch!) The only reason that I mention it is because I got a chance to meet Russell at the Affiliate Inferno conference last year and developed a new respect for his business prowess. (And of his knowledge of potato guns, but that’s another story :-)

Anyway, this product is an interview that he had with Vincent James that took nearly 6 hours! If you don’t know who Vincent James is, he is an ex con that over a recent stretch of 23 months, made $100,000,000 selling a $60 product. Thats one hundred MILLION dollars on a helluva lot of sales!

I had a feeling that this interview was going to be released soon, since Russell had alluded to it in the past. (Disclaimer: He didn’t tell me directly and I am not trying to make it seem like we are buddies that talk every week or something. I only met him once. This is for the conspiracy theorist and naysayers, LOL).

They go over:

  • Offline marketing techniques and how to integrate it online.,
  • What types of information product can be million dollar producers, and what will never get that big!
  • How you can sell millions of dollars in physical product and never see, touch, or smell them
  • How to create your own dietary supplement business by legally copying stuff that’s currently flying off the shelves!
  • and more stuff than I can fit here without putting you to sleep!

So check it out for yourself. The 12 Month Internet Millionaire is one of those refreshingly good products with solid information that won’t break the bank.

Getting a website up on the net is relatively easy to do these days but the trick is deciding where and how it will be hosted. Given that, you need to have a good understanding of what you are planning to do with your site.

For instance, if you are just going to throw up a few pages about your kids that only your family and friends will see, you likely can get away with using free plat forms like Blogger or Xanga (and a ton of others). However if you have more enterprising needs there are a number if things to look out for:

1. Uptime – To put it in simple terms, uptime is the amount of time your site is available for your visitors to browse, place orders, make comments, whatever. Obviously, you want your site to up as often as possible. Now, uptime is typically measured as a percentage of the total time in a month, like 99.99%.

2. Security – If you are collecting someones personal information, like addresses or credit cards and such, security is crucial! Matter of fact, your customers have to feel confident that you are treating their information securly or they just won’t do business with you. Security is also linked directly to uptime.

3. Redundancy – On top of having good security standards, a good host will have built in redundancy in its operations. What that means is they have back up systems, like back up servers, in place just in case the main system goes down. Having back up servers, for example, will help to ensure that your website stays up and running.

4. Facility Maintenance and 24/7 Monitoring – To protect against disaster and other threats, a good host will maintain a locked, temperature-controlled facility that has fire protection and an back up power source. The building should be monitored on a 24/7 basis. Monitoring should include an established hacker detection system to guard against security breach.

5. Technical Support – The amount of technical support you receive from your hosting provider is usually dependent on how much you pay them for the service. Some low-cost providers offer no technical support at all, while others in the low-to-mid-cost range offer email or online chat support. Some of the best hosting providers offer phone support (sometimes toll-free, but not always) in addition to online support.

There are many companies that provide these services to you but there is a new company that has upped the ante a bit named Hostorix. Without blabbing on about what they do in addition to what I mentioned here, just check them out yourself to see if they fit your needs. One of the beautiful things about their service is you can host an unlimited number of sites under one account without paying any additional fees for the other sites! So go ahead and check Hostorix out and see what they can do for you.
